Attendance Webhooks

Receive notifications about attendance timesheets and cycles

The Attendance module in Bob enables employees to log time and manage timesheets across attendance cycles. Attendance webhooks notify your endpoint when timesheet and cycle lifecycle events occur.

Attendance events

Attendance EventTypeDescription
Timesheet submittedattendance.timesheet.submittedTriggered when an employee submits a timesheet.
Timesheet approvedattendance.timesheet.approvedTriggered when a timesheet is approved.
Timesheet rejectedattendance.timesheet.rejectedTriggered when a timesheet is rejected.
Timesheet open for submissionattendance.timesheet.openForSubmissionTriggered when a timesheet becomes open for submission.

How to handle Attendance events

  1. Receive the event notification:
Bob sends a webhook notification to your endpoint whenever an attendance event is triggered. Timesheet events include timesheetId, employeeId, and cycleId. The cycle-ended event includes cycleId.
  2. Use the identifiers from the payload:
Use the IDs in the payload to correlate the event with your integration and retrieve related attendance data via the Attendance API where applicable.
